Kosher Catering Now Available for Events of Any Size

Imagine celebrating your wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or charity gala with a sweeping, glittering panorama of the Gateway Arch and Downtown St. Louis as the perfect backdrop.  Step out onto the beautiful 3,000-square-foot rooftop terrace that adjoins the ballroom, where guests can enjoy one of the most spectacular views in town, not to mention an amazing spot for photos to last a lifetime.

You can have it all, plus exceptional food, impeccable service and party planning assistance at Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch.  Here, you will find impressively decorated meeting rooms, party rooms and ballrooms that accommodate from 40 to 2,000 people.  That’s not to mention the fantastic location at 315 Chestnut St., with terrific access from Hwy. 40, I-70 and I-44.

And now there’s even more.  According to Lisa Sabin, director of Catering and Convention Services, the hotel has added kosher catering by Kohn’s to its many event amenities. “We are excited to be able to offer our event services to the entire Jewish community,” says Sabin. “We would like for you to think of us as the perfect wedding, bar/bat mitzvah and gala venue, somewhere that will make your event truly memorable for your family and all of your guests.  We now can handle all-kosher events or have deliciously prepared individual meals for observant guests.”

In addition, chefs  at Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch can meet the needs of guests who request vegetarian and gluten-free options.  Known for the many healthy choices on their menu, the chefs also pride themselves on seasonal menus with many creative dishes.

Out-of-town guests will be especially excited to be within easy walking distance of Busch Stadium, Laclede’s Landing, Citygarden, Kiener Plaza, American’s Center and many Downtown restaurants and attractions.  Plus, with 910 rooms, the Hyatt Regency can accommodate all your guests and provide them with some of the best views of our city.  “We are the closest hotel to the Arch and only a 15-minute drive from the airport,” points out Amanda Aylward, marketing manager.  MetroLink also has a nearby stop at 8th and Pine St.

Listening to Aylward describe the hotel as a wedding, bar/bat mitzvah and event venue, you immediately have peace of mind when it comes to the myriad details involved.  That’s because the hotel literally has thought of everything.

From the moment your guests come through the doors, they will be greeted in the lobby by the VIP manager, Keith Key, the unofficial “mayor of the lobby.”  Once you arrive at the ballroom or party room itself, again you will find that every detail has been tended to.

Many hosts choose to have cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the outdoor terrace, and some actually hold the wedding ceremony there to take advantage of the breathtaking views.   There’s even a lighted dance floor on the terrace, for an especially impressive ambience.

There are many other advantages to the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch, including free valet parking for your event or wedding, a honeymoon suite and a free stay on a couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Sabin also wants the entire Jewish community to consider the hotel for engagement parties and showers, for the next-morning’s brunch after weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs, and for business meetings and nonprofit events of all sizes.

“We would be happy to take you on a tour of the hotel, our event space and guest rooms, and our rooftop terrace,” says Sabin. “Be assured that no event is too small or too large.  We have such a wide selection of venues within the hotel that we can accommodate any size event. While you are here, you can learn more about our new kosher catering and all our menu choices, as well as our excellent party-planning assistance.”
