Jewish Federation of St. Louis seeks a creative, highly motivated Resource Assistant, Fiscal.  

Position Accountabilities & Deliverables

Provide administrative support to professional staff, optimizing workflow and logistics.

  • Maximize utilization of systems and technology to optimize resources.
  • Support grants administration including entering in Donor Advised Fund distributions, processing quarterly reports for Donor Advised Funds and annual reports for Endowment funds, and supporting new funds and information in Endowment Management Software.
  • Support the Fiscal staff in the payment and receivable processes.
  • Generate quarterly reports and others on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain written communication.
  • Provide administrative support with attention to design, detail, accuracy, and deadline expectations.

Support process efficiency.

  • Develop and document work processes, including timelines/schedules for owned responsibilities.
  • In partnership with professional staff, identify opportunities for process improvement to increase quality, efficiency, and logistics for events, programs, and processes.
  • Identify gaps and operational inefficiencies in Fiscal processes, recommend, and implement process improvements.

Experience & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, required.  Bachelor’s degree, preferred. 
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in support role.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in data management.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products and CRM’s.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and an ability to support strategic plans. Excellent time-management with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use discretion when handling and communicating sensitive information.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
