Salary: $40,000 - $42,000

Position Accountabilities

In partnership with team members, identify opportunities for process improvement to increase quality, efficiency, and logistics for events and programs.

  • Develop and implement processes to ensure timely communication and proactive problem solving strategies around issues related to all aspects of meeting/event/program support, production, and project management.

Support smooth and efficient grant making processes and effectively use grant management database (Spectrum).

  • Create, post and manage online applications.
  • Troubleshoot GE/Spectrum application questions and issues with applicants.
  • Grant data entry.
  • Batch payments on a regular basis.
  • Work with team members to coordinate communications and notifications to requesting organizations and recipients of Investments.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the team in all areas, including: meeting coordination, database administration, and other areas as needed.
  • Provide meeting support with attention to design, detail, accuracy, and deadline expectations.
  • Meeting coordination and preparation (including but not limited to sending memos, scheduling meetings/zoom, ordering food, etc.)
  • Effectively use constituent database/CRM to track constituent engagement in department activities.
  • Develop and maintain written communications and databases related to meetings, events and programs.
  • Create reports and compile all meeting materials into hard copy booklets or post online for review.
  • Provide administrative support to Jewish Loan Association.
  • Support project budgets by maintaining expense records and invoices related to meetings, events and programs.
  • Contribute to projects that support the success of Jewish Federation and Community Impact with other projects/tasks as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.  Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft office suite with excellent Excel skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent database management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, agencies and service providers and show discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
