The Jewish Federation of St. Louis seeks a highly motivated Resource Assistant who will provide administrative support, while demonstrating effective use of technology systems and providing excellent customer service to constituents, participants, and professional staff.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in providing administrative support in a team environment, with an emphasis on data management, project improvement, and systems/technology applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to professional staff, optimizing workflow and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain written communications and databases.
  • Provide administrative support with attention to design, detail, accuracy, and deadline expectations.
  • Independently set work priorities while maintaining sensitivity to the need for fluidity, based upon changing organizational priorities.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure timely communication and problem solving strategies.
  • In partnership with professional staff, identify opportunities for process improvement to increase quality, efficiency, and logistics for events, programs, and processes.
  • Maximize utilization of systems and technology to optimize resources.
  • Develop and maintain program logistics and timelines, plans and preparation, expense records and invoices related to events and programs.
  • Design, maintain, and generate reports detailing status of workflow to support analytics.
  • Ownership of timely, consistent, and accurate CRM system management
  • Work collaboratively with other staff and teams.
  • Develop and document work processes, including timelines/schedules for owned responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and auditable records.
  • Utilize effective communication and problem solving skills as a critical component of customer service.
  • Experience working in a support role, in a team environment.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experience and proficiency working with database tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, occasionally.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering with other teams when appropriate.
