JEWISH SENIORS ON THE MOVE PRESENTS MUSIC AND ART AT THE SHELDON AND LUNCH AT FAVAZZA’S

Jewish Seniors on the MOVE is a new program where active St. Louis Jewish seniors will enjoy day trips, tours, food, and friends, while exploring St. Louis. This program is presented in partnership with Congregation Shaare Emeth, United Hebrew Congregation, and Congregation Temple Israel.

On Wednesday, September 28, we are hosting our third of four fun events, where seniors will enjoy a trip to The Sheldon Concert Hall for a live performance from Cornet Chop Suey who will wow us with their exciting style of traditional jazz, swing, and blues music. Prior to the concert, we will enjoy coffee and pastries. After the concert, there will be time to explore the galleries at The Sheldon. Lunch will be at Favazza’s on the Hill. Transportation to and from the event and the cost for lunch are included in the admission price.

When:
Wednesday, Sept. 28, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

Meeting Spot: Temple Israel at 8:00 am
(#1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Dr., St. Louis, 63141)

Cost: $18 (payment required in advance to United Hebrew)

RSVP: to United Hebrew by Monday, Sept. 12 at 314-469-0700

The event is open to all Jewish seniors in the St. Louis Region. Space is limited, so RSVP is requested as early as possible.

This program is made possible through a grant from the The Nathan Kahn-Ernestine Kahn-Charles Kahn Foundation of Congregation Temple Israel.
