Fiber Art Mask Making for Purim

The Jewish Arts & Soul Project has the solution for your Purim costume woes. Create wearable artwork using dry-felting and wool painting techniques with fiber artist and sculptor Kim Wilson. Participants build on self-portraits to sculpt imaginative masks using prefelts, wool roving and recycled sweaters. Explore what this medium has to offer and try on a new skill. All supplies and refreshments provided. This workshop takes place at the J’s Staenberg Family Complex, Arts & Education Building, on Wednesday, March 1, from 6:30-9:30pm. Register online TODAY at jccstl.com or by contacting Shira Kraft, Program Coordinator, at skraft@jccstl.org or 314-442-3111. (Presented by the Ruth and Harold Sher Center of Jewish Life.
