Join Cantor Ron Eichaker for a preliminary summary study of Plato’s two dialogues, Euthyphro and Apology followed by the Republic and a summary study of Tractate Taanit 3 in the Talmud. It is encouraged to read all four pieces but not required for the course as Cantor Eichaker will provide summary reviews of the pieces. These pieces provide a good foundation for Section 2 which will explore Jacob Howland’s book “Plato and the Talmud”.
This class is free for UH members and $25 for non-members.
