Criminal Justice Reform Education Series – Opportunity Fair

November 3, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

JCRC, along with our partners, Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice and the Peace and Justice Commission of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, invite you to participate in our Criminal Justice Reform Education Series. The inequities people of color suffer at the hands of the justice system constitutes of the most pressing civil rights crises in the United States. Missouri’s prisons are overcrowded and the choice today is to build more prisons, at tremendous expense, or change the way in which people are sentenced, rehabilitated and released. The voice of the Jewish Community, in coalition with others, can spur the reforms needed in Missouri.

Please join us at an Opportunity Fair that will highlight several organizations that assist people who were formerly-incarcerated and that are seeking volunteers. Each organizations will give a brief presentation and representatives will be available to have direct conversation with attendees about how they can get involved.

Visit the event website to see the organizations which are currently confirmed to attend.
