Alice Handelman

Alice Handelman, an award-winning journalist and board member of the St. Louis Jewish Light, was recently honored as a 35-year member of National Federation of Press Women. A former member of the Women’s Connection Board of Jewish Federation and a Lion of Judah, Handelman was also recently was honored by Marquis Who’s Who with the prestigious 2018 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement award. The former Director of Community Relations at Jewish Center for Aged and writer for the St. Louis Blues, she is a contributing writer and columnist for Ladue News. She is a past president of Women of Achievement, St. Louis Press Club, and Aging Ahead Foundation. JF&CS Offering Walk-In Hours at MaTovu

Starting on February 12, mental healthcare provider Michael Faccini, MSW, LMSW, will be hosting free walk-in hours in the city at MaTovu from 3-6 p.m on Tuesdays. During these hours he will be providing free counseling assessments, referrals, and follow up treatment plans. The location is 4200 Blaine Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
