April 18, 2010 2nd Annual Roffman Family Day of Service 100 Young Adults and Hillel Students came together to do service projects that benefited 10 organizations in St. Louis. Projects ranged from making bean soup bags for the Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry to sewing quilts for babies at Crisis Nursery. Photos Here.
April 15, 2010 Social Activism w/a Jewish Twist: Mark Hanis With the generosity from the Kranzberg Family Foundation, Young Friends of the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, Anti-Defamation League, and the Young Professionals Division of the Jewish Federation, collaborated to bring Mark Hanis to St. Louis. Hanis is the founder and president of the Genocide Intervention Network. He gave an action-oriented and inspiring talk about how we can work together to stop present day genocides around the world. February 20, 2010 YPD Rolls Out the Red Carpet Campaign Kickoff Over 200 young Jewish adults came to the Randall Gallery on February 20th as YPD Walked the Red Carpet. There were a lot of new faces that came to learn about Jewish Federation, YPD and to be a contestant in the Celebrity Costume Contest. November 24, 2009 YPD Campaign TU Event@Tricor Braun Jewish Federation’s Young Professionals Division hosted a campaign appreciation event in the artistically elegant lobby of TRICOR BRAUN. The evening was an opportunity to thank everyone in YPD for giving a $100+ gift to the 2009 Jewish Community Campaign. Nearly 100 young adults also heard Staam, Washington University’s premiere Jewish a cappella group, perform. Photos

YPD is for Jewish men and women in their 20s and 30s. YPD works to make and strengthen Jewish connections and create opportunities for young Jews to become involved in the Jewish community and in Jewish Federation. Activities include direct service projects, social programs, leadership development, educational programs and meaningful Israel experiences. YPD holds a seat on Federation’s board of directors.

Kol Yom Kol Yom means “every day.” Open to young leaders who contribute $365 or more to Jewish Federation's annual community campaign. This society provides a meaningful stepping stone for YPDers as they engage with the community and inspired to increase their gifts. Special Kol Yom recognition efforts are planned through YPD.
Chazak Chazak means “to be strong.” The Chazak Society is open to young leaders who contribute $500 or more to the Federation annual campaign - or YPD'ers whose fundraising efforts result in $500 or more in increases during a campaign year. This society helps strengthen the Campaign, YPD and young leadership in the Jewish community. Special Chazak Society events are organized throughout the year.
Ben Gurion Society Donor recognition program for individuals ages 25-45 who make a minimum individual gift of $1,000 to Federation's annual campaign. BGS members are actively helping SHAPE our communities. Step up and join us today!
